We are pleased to announce that Joe Barber, a 3rd year apprentice at our Plymouth facility has been successful in attaining the Engineering Group “Student of the Year” award at the City College Plymouth’s recent Apprentice of the Year awards.
Approximately 13,000 students currently attend courses at the College and all were eligible for selection, Joe is one of 16 students to be presented with the coveted certificate – a truly outstanding achievement for which all of us at Fiber Glass Systems are extremely proud.
Our Operations Director, Mr Jon Barr, commented;
“Joe’s accomplishments do not stop with this remarkable award, the college predicts that he could also obtain NINE distinctions at the conclusion of his Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship, which would be a fantastic achievement which we wish him well on, we will continue to do all we can to support and develop him to his full potential” .”
