This project involved the design, fabrication and of 4 No. Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) pressure vessels for installation on a north sea oil platform sea water filtration system.
As you can see from these photographs, the pressure vessels were specifically designed to be integrated into the platforms newly installed pipework system. We manufactured each pressure vessel to a length of 2M, with 2 NO 20” pipes, and 2 NO 30” diameter pipes. The Glass Reinforced Epoxy 3400 used in manufacture enabled fast track installation due to its lightweight properties.
Using the latest in design technologies, all the vessels were produced to ASME X standards, providing the highest levels of corrosion resistance, ideal for the demanding offshore marine environment.
